Enhance Protection of Intellectual Property Rights
Themed around “Promoting economic transformation during financial crisis”, the 2009 Pearl River Delta International Forum on Innovation and Intellectual Property, organized by the Guangdong Intellectual Property Bureau and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce was held in Guangzhou on October 26. The event brings together representatives and experts from politics laws and enterprises circles, including the U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gary Locke, the American Ambassador Jon Huntsman in China, director general of Guangdong Intellectual Property Bureau Tao Kaiyuan, to exchange best practices and develop solutions to challenges in fostering innovation as well as protecting and enforcing the intellectual property that drives it.
