Title: Beijing Olympic Torch Relay in Guangzhou

Voiceover:
The Beijing Olympic torch relay in Guangzhou started at Baiyun International Convention Center this morning. The whole center was surrounded by enthusiastic residents, earlier before the relay began. This will be the second time Guangzhou has hosted a torch relay for an international sports event. As the host city of the 2010 Asian Games, Guangzhou was also a torch relay city for the 2006 Doha Asian Games.
Former Olympic champion Mr. Yang Jinhui was the first torch bearer.

Now time is 10 am May 7 2008, about half an hour later, the torch will be passed in Yuantai Garden. During the past 3-hour trip, there’re some foreign torch bearers taking part in the relay.

Daniel Krause, the sculptor in Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts is from America and has been living in China for about 20 years.

Anne, a sports trainer from Finland has made her way for the torch relay.

Jade Yin, the image ambassador of Guangzhou Municipality as well as the director of Guangzhou English Channel carried the torch on the top of Baiyun Mountain.
